Hello Coaches! My favorite thing about catching is having a different perspective of the game. Catching allows me to see the game from a place no other position can. I can truly express my leadership when I am catching. I understand that the catcher is the leader of the team and the whole field and I really think I embody this when I am catching. When I am hitting I like to keep a clear mindset. I like to take deep breaths and understand the situation I am in and what outcome would benefit my team the best. I consider myself a team player at the plate. I will do whatever it takes to help my team succeed, whether it’s putting down a bunt or a double in the gap. Along with softball, my dedication to my school work is my first priority and I take this very seriously. Thank you for your time!
