Personal Statement
I have loved softball for as long as I can remember. I’ve been playing travel softball since I was 8, and it has been a very important part of my life, teaching me about teamwork, leadership, and how to overcome challenges. Softball has helped me gain confidence, mental toughness, and the ability to learn from failure. My favorite part of softball is working as a team and playing together – understanding that no single player on the field can win or lose a game by themselves – and I’ve seen how bringing, and encouraging, a positive attitude can make all the difference. I am looking for a college with very strong academics and a vibrant culture, where I can continue playing softball as part of a well-rounded experience. I am a natural lefty slapper.
