Personal Statement
Hello! I’m Rylee Monticue, a sophomore at Ligonier Valley High School in Ligonier, Pennsylvania. I’ve earned two varsity letters and was honored to be nominated by my teammates as captain of the varsity floor. For the 2024 season, I was selected to the First Team Class 2A Section 5 All-Star Team. At 5’11, I play as a S/OPP, though I’m always willing to step into any position needed. This past season, I helped my high school team reach the WPIAL playoffs by playing middle hitter and setting from the back-row. Volleyball is where I’m happiest! For club, I’m currently playing my first season with Revolution Volleyball Club. Outside of volleyball, I focus on academics and currently hold a 3.75 GPA while taking a rigorous load of honors and college-level courses.
