Personal Statement
My name is Rylea Ross and my position is RH/DS but I have also played MB/OH in my previous volleyball seasons. I am in the class of 2025 and I have been on varsity during all four years at my high school, Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC). I have a 4.32 weighted GPA, ranked 16 out of 296 students at my high school. My favorite clubs at school are Student Council, National Honors Society, and Black Student Union. My current club team is Carolina CHAOS and I play for the 18 Royal team. Volleyball became serious to me during my first club season in freshman year. Seeing the competition lit a fire in me and pushed me to be the best athlete I can be physically and mentally. I push my limits on and off the volleyball court and it taught me that nothing can stop me as long as I have the fire.
