Personal Statement
My name is Ryder Heitefuss, and I am a student at Long Beach High School on Long Island, New York, graduating in 2026. I play for Susa 08 ECNL, a highly competitive U17 soccer team. Over the past three seasons, our team has qualified for the national playoffs, winning the Northeast Division twice. My primary position is in midfield (6, 8, 10), but I am also capable of playing as a fullback when needed. In addition to my athletic commitment, I am a candidate for the International Baccalaureate (IB) program, which is known for its rigorous and demanding curriculum—it's the most challenging academic track my school offers. I consistently push myself to excel both in the classroom and on the field, and I currently maintain a 4.0 GPA.
