Personal Statement
My name is Ryan Roy and I am 16 years old. Soccer is my passion and I have been playing the game since I was 4 years old. I am currently in my fifth season with AFC and have helped us win both the NorCal State Cup and NPL National Championship over the past few years. In our first season of ECNL play, we finished in the top 16 nationally. Although I am very versatile, I mainly play Left Back or Left Center Back, as I am left foot dominant and am very confident playing out of the back. On the field, I am known to be a tenacious defender and love to get forward in the attack (two-way player). My coaches would say that I am a great teammate who works very hard in training and in games and am a player they trust.
