Personal Statement
Intentions matter, and I am determined to improve not just myself, but help others around me do the same. Encouragement can have a similar effect as showing a teammate a skill move. If they don’t have the confidence to do a move in a game, it doesn’t matter how much they practice it. I want to build confidence in my team, and allow them to make mistakes because that's how you're able to grow. Connecting passes doesn’t always mean a connected team. So my intention is to support those around me, instead of letting them think they can’t do something at all when they just can’t do it YET. This goes for myself as well, which I do by taking my coach's suggestions and incorporating them into my game while also listening to my teammates.
