Personal Statement
My name is Ruby Cortez, class of 2027 at Escondido Charter High School. Currently, I play travel ball for Breakers Labs (16U Cortez) at second base and outfield. I throw right and hit, slap, and bunt left. I started slapping two years ago to better utilize my speed. I'm a scholar athlete and when not in school I enjoy playing softball, soccer, baking, building models, painting, and going to the beach. I can see myself competing at the next level, I enjoy the workouts and playing the game of softball.
