Personal Statement
My name is Roslyn Rubio, and I am a first baseman, outfielder, and catcher in the class of 2027. I have a 4.33 GPA, improving from a 4.17 in my freshman year. I am a left-handed hitter who provides power and speed on the bases. I am known for my strength on the field and my positive, encouraging attitude on and off the field. I play for Firecrackers Brashear Hicks 18u Gold and Brawley Union High School in Brawley, CA. I was the only freshman starter on my varsity softball team, serving as the DH and hitting in the middle lineup. I also finished my first varsity volleyball season, winning a Division III championship and advancing two rounds in State. I am a member of my high school’s CSF and UNICEF clubs.
