Riley Zimmerman

My teammates usually call me Ri. I started playing the game at 3, after my dad introduced me to the game of baseball as a baby, taking me to SF Giants games. As I started growing around the sport, my love for the game grew. Whatever is going on in life, I feel calm and at home on the field. I’ve had ups and downs, injuries, and heartbreak in the sport, but I can’t imagine softball ending after high school. Off the field, I am a part of my high school’s Student Government where I help grow the community on campus and off. I’ve helped organize personal item drives to help serve underprivileged parts of Scottsdale, I’ve volunteered at Feed My Starving Children, and my personal favorite was when my Varsity team and I volunteered at the Miracle League to share our love of the game!
