Personal Statement
My Name is Riley Moon. Ever since I could hold a ball and throw, my passion has been softball. I began competing at a more elite level and started training with a pitching coach, falling in love with pitching. I attend Freedom High School in Oakley and play for LTG 14U Carda/Pettis. My pitching coach is three-time all-American Lindsay Platt, the greatest pitcher in DePaul softball history and 2025 hall of fame inductee. The lifelong experiences and friendships I've gained through softball have shaped me into who I am today. Competing, building friendships, and creating lasting memories are what make softball more than just a game for me. College softball has been a huge dream of mine since I was a little girl, and I am excited to see where this journey takes me.
