Personal Statement
My name is Rhys Baker. I play for GFI Academy’s U17s in MLS Next and I am a Junior at Texas Connections Academy in Houston, Texas. I typically play in the CDM role but this year at GFI I have been needed as a center back in a 3-back formation or wing back in a 4. I formally played with RGV Toros in MLS Next but after they folded, I spent a year playing UPSL with SCA Rayados in Houston as well as the U18 team. Academically, I maintain a 4.45 GPA.
