From the first day I stepped on the ice I knew hockey was the sport for me! Being from a small town in Northern Alberta (the last stop before the Northwest Territories) where there is no AA or AAA programs I knew that if I wanted to pursue playing a higher level of hockey I would have to leave home and prepare myself physically and mentally to do it. At the age of 12 I set a goal and started doing research on fitness and nutrition for hockey players. Over the next 6 months I worked hard and reached my physical goals. At 13 I decided I would billet 800 kms south and tryout for AAA and AA if need be. I was successful in securing a spot on the roster with the U15AAA PAC Saints. From there I have been playing in the CSSHL.
