Personal Statement
My name is Quentin Torbert, and I am a Senior at La Salle Catholic College Preparatory in Portland, Oregon. For my high school teams, I have mostly played at the 10, and have been a starter since my Freshman year. Needing some defensive help my Jr year, I slid back to play as a center back the last 4 games and received 2nd team all conference honors as a defender. For club soccer, I have also played multiple positions. Now mostly playing as a false 9, I think my size, athleticism, strength, and speed help make me a valuable asset to my team. Through 40 games last season, I led the team in goal contributions with 18 goals and 16 assists. I also aspire for excellence in the classroom. I have maintained a 3.7 GPA, and hope to study Engineering, Finance, Business or Economics in college.
