Personal Statement
My name is Presley McGinty and I am a pitcher in the class of 2026. In my 2025 spring season, I felt really strong both at the plate and on the mound. As a batter, I played in 24 games and managed to hit with a .453 average. My on-base average was .517, and I collected 34 hits, including 5 doubles and a triple. Scoring 31 runs and driving in 10 RBIs were and I also worked hard on my base running, successfully stealing 9 bases with an 86% success rate. On the pitching side, I threw 60.1 innings across 12 games, starting in 7 of them. My ERA was 1.51, and I kept my WHIP down to 0.83, which helped me control the game and limit scoring opportunities for the opponents. I ended the season with 7 wins and 2 losses, striking out 69 batters.
