Personal Statement
I love the game of softball. I love the competition on the field and the contagious energy that spreads throughout a dugout. Speed is my greatest asset (2.80 from contact, 2.44 from first step). As a left-handed hitter, there are a number of ways I can get on base: drag bunt, push bunt, hard slap, soft slap, and full swing. I also have home run power and can drive in runs. When I am in the outfield, I get great jumps on the ball and catch everything in the air. I routinely rob home runs and make diving catches in the outfield. I have a tireless work ethic. Whether it's at-home workouts or attending extra practices, I am consistently working to become a better player. I work just as hard in the classroom where I have a 4.45 GPA/1430 SAT.
