Personal Statement
Hi! My name is Paul Henderson, and I am a class of 2022 lefty opposite and setter. I am mainly an opposite, but this club season I learned to set as well because we didn't have a setter for the beginning of the season. I have been playing since 7th grade, where I started by playing in a YMCA youth league which, although developing few skills, did build my love for the game. In my freshman year, I joined an 18s club team and saw little playing time. Over the summer and off-season, through working out and playing beach, I worked my way to a starting opposite position as a sophomore. This year, I am now the captain of my club team, either setting all the way around or running a 6-2 with our newer setter.
