Paola Nicole Perez-Mendoza

When I was four years old, I started playing basketball and I fell in love with the game. I have learned the value of commitment, teamwork, discipline, sacrifice, and leadership throughout the years. Sitting out for nine games as a Junior, because of the transferred student rule, was the highlight of my high school career. My growth as a team player increased since not being able to play meant supporting my teammates, and improved my weaknesses. I'm looking for a program that will be a perfect fit for me athletically and academically. I believe I not only have the talent to compete for a college team but the character, work ethic, and responsibility to succeed in the academic field too. As a student-athlete in honor classes, I know that I have what it takes to be a leader on a team!
