Personal Statement
I am a gritty player who looks to persevere in all situations, using opportunities to form good playing habits & heighten my field IQ. I setup strategy for turnovers, well-communicated defensive slides & wins. Lifting each other up is key to team success. I always look to model great sportsmanship. I work with young lax players to teach them correct fundamentals from the start. While I also play varsity field hockey and winter track, off the field my focus in scholastics has led me to a 4.0 GPA with Honors US & World history, Chemistry, Biology and Accelerated Spanish & have been inducted into National Spanish Honors Society. I also volunteer for several organizations to help our communities & have earned my Girl Scouts Bronze and Silver Awards. Instagram: @paigeromano_lax2026
