Anna Paige Derda

My name is Anna (Paige) Derda. I have been playing lacrosse since 5th grade with AFA (The Alpha Female Athlete - NC) and have loved every minute of it! I am a defensive minded player having played defense most of my career. I have recently started playing more at mid-field and on attack. My coach has referred to me as his "Swiss army knife" as he often moves me around the field where and when he needs me. I pride myself on getting interceptions and causing turnovers. I was a starter on my varsity team (Apex High) since my freshmen year. My dream is to play the sport I love at the college level and to put 100% into every practice and game. I’m a very flexible, coachable, and spirited athlete. I look forward to bettering myself both on the field and in the classroom at a school that I love.
