Personal Statement
I was introduced to basketball during the 5th grade and absolutely fell in love with it. Between my club and school teams I've been playing year round ever since. Prior to basketball I was a state champion gymnast, a two-time national qualifier for spring board diving, and placed 3rd in the long jump at my first Junior Olympic nationals which earned me all-American honors from the USATF. I continue to compete in track & field today as a sprinter and long & triple jumper. I feel my background in other sports has helped me to excel on the basketball court. I'm also proud to say that going into my freshman year I've maintained straight A's all throughout school.
