Personal Statement
Like most kids, I started baseball in little league when I was five. It was the first sport that I was introduced to as a child and probably it is not a coincidence that my Dad grew up playing it and he showed it to my sister and I. Unlike most baseball playing kids my age, however, I’m a female baseball player. I have the same drive and ambitions as any one of my peers. I want to continue to play the game at the highest level I can because I want to know what my potential is. There are a lot of misunderstandings about how far or where a female can play baseball. I am looking for an opportunity to display my skills and earn my spot on a team through hard work. My ideal school is one that has a very high academic standard and a very competitive baseball team.
