Personal Statement
It’s easy to explain why I play goalie, “because I have so much fun, and I am not afraid of the ball.” At 8 yrs. old, I began to play for my sister’s rec team when no one would get in the cage. When I started to play club, I realized that I truly loved playing goalie. By training with goalie coaches, I began to focus on my speed and agility, making saves, and remaining poised and confident for clears. At SPSG, I am our class SGA leader for spirit and competitions. I also help prospective families tour our school. Although playing lacrosse is my main sport, I also love to play guard on the basketball team. My main goal is to find a school and community where I can be an integral part of a competitive lacrosse program and be intellectually and personally challenged.
