Personal Statement
I am Olivia McDonough (most people call me Livy)! I am from West Friendship, Maryland, I go to Glenelg High School (2025 graduate), and a 5'6 libero/ds. I love to hang out with my friends/family, read, watch movies, and train for volleyball! I am always the loudest player on the court even when we are down, that includes cheering for each one of my teammates. I started playing volleyball at age 10 with different kinds of beginner camps. I eventually wanted to start playing more competitively, so I started rec league for about 2 years and decided I was ready for that next step, club. Maryland Juniors is where I have been playing for 5 years, and I learned so much. Volleyball has taught me to be more outgoing and confident. I aspire to continue my love for the sport at the next level.
