Personal Statement
My name is Olivia Ellis-Saénz, and I am a central defender for the Flash 2007 team with Manhattan Soccer Club (MSC), despite being an ’08. I aspire to play Division III soccer at a school with strong academics, maintaining a 3.9 GPA while balancing my passion for soccer. I’ve been on my high school varsity team since 8th grade, earning MVP my first season. I also play in the ECNL and will compete in major college showcases, including PDA, NEWS, Sanford, and SUSA. Versatile on the field, I excel in central defense, defensive midfield, and fullback positions Off the field, I plan to pursue pre-med or international finance, inspired by family ties to Spain and experiences abroad. Fluent in English and Spanish, I am also passionate about classical piano, basketball, and lacrosse.
