Personal Statement
Hello! My name is Nina Geathers and I am a freshmen at Providence Day School. I am a multi sport athlete with a background of playing tennis, basketball and volleyball. I fell in love with volleyball and would like to play on a colligate level. I am a versatile athlete capable of playing different positions, primarily playing as a pin. I enjoy the team aspect of the game having developed strong bonds with my teammates. I have also learned great leadership and life skills that I can use on and off the court. I come from a family of athletes. My father, Robert Geathers Jr., played in the NFL for 11 years; additionally having 6 other family members that have had successful careers in the NFL as well. I am excited to keep learning and getting better at the sport!
