Personal Statement
Baseball is so much more than a game to me...it is camaraderie, communication and teamwork skills important in life. I always bring 120% to the field and I make sure that I, as a player, am doing everything I can to help my teammates succeed and win games. As a freshman my hard work paid off because I achieved defensive player of the year. I have in the past volunteered to mentor young players, which was very satisfying and fun. Baseball has been my passion since T-Ball and I plan on working extremely hard to play the game as long as possible. My plan is to be involved in the game beyond being a player which is why I will Major in Sports Management / Business. Outside of baseball I also work hard academically and am a member of the National Honor Society.
