Personal Statement
My name is Niamh Motley from Timaru, New Zealand. I am 17 years old. I graduate in Dec 2023. I compete in both track and cross country. My PBs are 4.41.83 1500m, 5.05.94 mile & 2.15.34 800m. At the NZSS Athletics Champs, I was 4th in the 2000m steeple 7.22.65 & 5th in the 1500m. I won the 1500m and 2000m steeple at the South Island Secondary School champs. I ran a 3km 10.28 in the Canterbury Road race. I placed 16th at the NZSS Cross Country over 4km. I won the U20 South Island Cross Country champs over 5km. In NZ we have a different education system, but I have the equivalent of a 3.83 GPA. I am interested in running in the US for college.
