Neviah Johnson

For the 2023-24 school year I moved to Portland, OR to attend Rosemary Anderson Prep to work with coach Latoya Harris Alexander, a hall of fame athlete, and I knew she could help me get my game to the next level. Under her, I have been able to increase my volleyball IQ, improve my serve rating, and my abilities to command the back row. We train everyday to be great and it truly has impacted my play in ways I didn't think I could improve on. At my previous high school I ran a 5-1 offense as a setter giving me the understanding of where to play the out of system ball. I also played on my school's basketball team and earned first team all league and defensive player of the year. The defensive skills I have in basketball translate to make me a more aggressive DS on the volleyball court.
