Naraiya Thompson

My name is Naraiya Thompson, I’m a setter/defensive specialist who loves the game of volleyball. I started playing volleyball my 7th grade year and develop the love for setting over time. I begin learning to set the ball through online tutorials while continuing to improve through club trainings. As a freshman starter on my high school varsity indoor & beach volleyball team. I learned that leadership, motivation and self-discipline are the many qualities I possess as a student-athlete. I love analyzing the game while being receptive to feedback. Though volleyball plays a critical part in my life, I'm a proud member of my school's theatre/drama club. I'm looking forward to majoring in drama & cinematics while hoping to play collegiate volleyball for a great school.
