Personal Statement
Hi! My name is Morgan Somers Barron. I was born on July 7, 2009 and live in Nederland, Texas. I just finished my freshman year at Nederland High School with a 4.0 where I played freshman volleyball and varsity softball. I have played softball since I was 4 years old and began pitching lessons at 9 years old. I enjoy staying active whether I am on or off the field. This year, I received the 17-5A District 1st Team Pitcher honor, Academic All-District and Nederland High School's Offensive Player of the Year award. This past summer, I had the pleasure of playing with some amazing girls on Bombers Gold Mooneyham 18u and I am looking forward to playing some competitive ball this fall with Bombers Gold Lonestar 18u.
