Monica Clavijo

Hello, my name is Monica Clavijo. I have been playing soccer since I was 3. I've kicked the soccer ball around since I could walk. I remember walking around my house and seeing all the TVs on a soccer game. I mainly grew up in a soccer rounded family because both my father and grandfather played soccer back in their home country Colombia. I've started on varsity since 8th grade. My freshman year I was awarded all-league and this year (sophomore) I was awarded all-county. I take honor in these awards. I was recently selected to participate in u-17 Colombian national team training. I intend to play soccer at a high level while pursuing my academics. I take pride in my grade and think it is important to balance both sports and academics. I am enrolled in more than ap class this year.
