Personal Statement
My name is Molly Romano, and I am currently a midfielder playing for The Mainline Field Hockey Club (Mayhem) located in PA. I am a 2024 at Merion Mercy Academy, where I have recently been nominated as a captain for the 2023 season. I have been a varsity player since my freshman year, and became a starting midfielder sophomore year. This past fall, I was selected as an AACA 2022 League All-Star. Once I picked up a stick in 5th grade, I knew field hockey would become an irreplaceable part of my life. My leadership qualities, tenacity, and passion for the sport allow me to not only perform well on the field, but also pushes me to be a better teammate. I am hoping to continue my field hockey career throughout college on a competitive team who will push me to the best of my abilities.
