Personal Statement
I fell in love with softball when I was five years old, sitting in the dugout cheering on my sister's travel team. Growing up surrounded by softball created the passion I have for the game today. I love the camaraderie of my softball team and the sport has taught me great lessons of perseverance, overcoming challenges, and how to bounce back mentally and physically when things go wrong. My coaches would describe me as one of the hardest-working players, a great teammate, and always willing to do what the team needs. I pride myself on being a clutch hitter and supporting my teammates. I am looking for a school that has very strong academics that will allow me to intellectually grow and play competitive softball.
