Mitchell Burgan

Hello! I'm Mitchell Burgan, a senior at Moon Area High School near Pittsburgh, PA. I've been a varsity defender for each of my high school seasons and am the team leader in forced turnovers and ground balls. I made the 2024 WPIAL All-Section First Team as a junior and the 2023 WPIAL All-Section Second Team as a sophomore. I am starting my sixth summer of travel lacrosse with the Pittsburgh 79ers, playing as a defender on the 2025AA team. I love both the physical challenge of lacrosse and the opportunity to work as part of a team. I hope to attend a college where I can be challenged academically and as an athlete. I would love the opportunity to play as part of a really competitive college team with coaches who hold their players to a high standard, on and off the field.
