Personal Statement
Hi, I'm Mikka! I made varsity softball at Marshall HS as a freshman & helped pave the way for a winning season by beating McLean HS, the defending state champions, allowing us to play in the district championship finals, a first in several years for Marshall following a 0-19 season prior to my joining the team. This exciting season was featured in The Washington Post. It was so amazing to be a part of it, & I earned the Newcomer of the Year Award. My Sage 14U team won the 2024 Space Coast World Series in Florida, undefeated. I completed freshman year with a 4.078 weighted GPA, all honors classes and several extracurriculars including softball.
