Personal Statement
My name is Mikayla Moore. I am 17 years old and I am a student athlete at Providence Day School. My ultimate goal is to play competitive college volleyball while earning my Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology. I've know since I started playing volleyball in 8th grade that I would work hard to earn a spot on a college team. I am a versatile player on the court. For both my club and school teams I am a middle blocker and I serve and receive. As an upper classman on my school team, I support and encourage younger players. I lead by example and adhere to my coaches' corrections. I regularly train outside of school and club to ensure my skills continue to progress. I believe that hard work and dedication are the keys to success. I look forward to taking my talent to the next level.
