Mia Tvrdy

I am a self driven and internally motivated student and athlete. I strive for excellent grades, meet deadlines, always try to exceed expectations, practice like it's a game, and put the team before self. I realize that as a young African American athlete and scholar my behavior, character, and actions both in person and on social media can either be positive and inspirational or negative and indifferent. I aspire to play for a team that I can contribute to and make a positive difference. My goal is to maintain these personal expectations, go on to play collegiate volleyball, and earn an advanced degree where I can travel the world.
