Personal Statement
I'm Mia and I've been looking forward to this recruiting process for a long time. Throughout high school I have maintained a 4.0 GPA, and I enjoy math and science. I am the editor in chief of my school yearbook and am a member of our Dreams Come True Club. My freshman, sophomore and junior years of high school soccer I was a starting defender and would occasionally play in the midfield when needed. Freshman year I received the Most Valuable Newcomer Award from my teammates and sophomore year I received the best defender award. Defensive midfield (6) is my favorite position, but I excel in center back also. I played for Jacksonville Football Club for 12 years, Florida Elite ECNL for 1 and am now back at JFC.
