Personal Statement
I'm a 2024 Goalkeeper, who has been playing for eleven years, with nine years in the goal. I’m a dual-sport athlete who also plays softball for my high school team. My save percentage for the 2022 Fall season was 86%, and my current save percentage for the 2023 Fall season is 88%. In addition to playing for my high school varsity team, I play field hockey year-round with Freedom HKY Club. I'm motivated and always open to learning and improving my technical skills. I have strong defensive response times. I am a strategy-focused team player who actively communicates with my defensive players and aggressively protects my circle/goal. Team sports have been an important part of my life and personal development and I would like to continue to play field hockey at a four-year university.
