Personal Statement
When my club team needed a goalie four years ago, I stepped up without hesitation. Since then, lacrosse has become my passion! During my sophomore year at New Trier, I started on Varsity and was named a USA Lacrosse All-American, First Team All-State and Team MVP. I thrive while clearing the ball under pressure, and I take great pride in my hand-eye coordination and frequent ground balls outside of the cage. Outside of lacrosse, I play travel ice hockey. This past season, I led my team in points and was selected to play in my league’s All-Star Game. Off the field and ice, I am an Honor Roll student with a 4.0 unweighted GPA in all honors/high honors courses.
