I would like to say that I am the kind of person who values family, education and the thing that I love the most, which is being on the ice. My family has taught me to be a more optimistic person as we have faced many challenges together such has my brother being diagnosed with autism. He opened up my eyes to understanding children with special needs, which is why I volunteer my time to help them. I also find education important which is why I push myself to study hard and keep my grades up because in my mind there is always room for improvement. Growing up hockey has always been in my life. As a child I watched my uncles play which made me want to strive to be like them. I am always trying to find new ways to improve my skills on and off the ice.
