Maya Tabancura

Hello my name is Maya Tabancura! I am a three-year varsity goalkeeper from Temecula Valley High School. Field hockey is not only a sport to me, it is a family and is something that I can rely on for enjoyment. Outside of school I play with 79 Field Hockey under Coach Tiffany Snow Huisman, who taught me how to truly play field hockey. Not only do I know that my teammates rely on me to keep the balls out of the goal, I depend on myself to be able to serve my team at the best of my ability. I have a love and passion for field hockey and I can’t imagine not being able to play after high school. Outside of field hockey, I am a high school lacrosse goalie. Nonetheless, I enjoy growing plants, relaxing with my family, and playing the upright bass. Thank you!
