Matthew Torres

My goal in college is to be the best I can be on the field as well as the classroom. I strive to focus on these goals and not to let distractions get in the way. I‘m an excellent candidate for any team because I will always put my teammates and the sport I love before myself. I play for the people around me and for the crest that I proudly carry on my uniform. I’m a leader on and off the field, and have always worked my hardest until the last whistle. I contrast from other recruits because I have the ability to keep a balance in sports and education and still succeed. In addition, as a Colombian, soccer is in my blood and many of my ancestors taught me ever since I was just 4 years old.
