Personal Statement
My name is Matthew Endich and I play CDM for the WNY Flash Academy. My coaches have compared my game to Andrea Pirlo. I feel my skill set favors a possession style game. I recognize that my size may be considered an obstacle to some, but I feel it has forced me to strive to be technically and tactically excellent. I try to outwork and outsmart my opponents. I do this by continuing to develop an exceptional first touch, a high soccer IQ and a level of mental toughness that allows me to handle any situation. These 3 areas of focus are supported by reaching a tireless level of fitness. Overall, I try to improve as a soccer player each day by putting myself in difficult and uncomfortable situations as much as possible.
