Matthew Battoglia

I am a member of the 2027 class at Hillsborough HS. I’m a middle infielder, third baseman and right handed pitcher. I’ve been playing baseball ever since I could pick up a bat and ball when I was a toddler. I’d like to continue playing for as long as possible and playing collegiate baseball is something that I’ve always aspired to do. On the field I am team player, first and foremost, that will work hard and always support my teammates. I’m extremely coachable with a high baseball IQ and will lead by example. My academics are very important to me and I’m currently maintaining a 94.8 average while also volunteering at youth sports camps as well as various activities in my community. I would like to attend a college where I can continue to focus in both the classroom and on the field.
