Personal Statement
My name is Mateus DeJesus, and I am a 2024 graduate playing at MLSNEXT Tampa Bay United U19 in Tampa, Florida. I am half-Brazilian, and the love for the jogo bonito runs through my veins. I'm a 6'1 left-footed Left Back and Midfielder( with experience as a CB and as an 8 or 10). I take pride in being a player who's comfortable with the ball under pressure( credit to playing futsal since I was 5). I consider myself a good teammate and try to lead by example. I love to train as much as I love the games. I am also an honor roll student, currently carrying a 3.7 GPA. I was born and Raised in Indiana, and in August of 2022 moved to Florida. I love playing sports, and my faith is a big part of who I am.
