Personal Statement
My name is Marissa Balderas, I have been playing softball for seven years. Since playing, I have aspired to play at the collegiate level. My goal is to attend college to push myself not only in softball but also in my education. I attend Garrison Middle School, as an eighth grader. In class I study hard to maintain my GPA. As a three-sport athlete, I have learned a lot about myself with volleyball, basketball, and softball. I've had to learn to manage my time, so my schoolwork was not behind, along with keeping up my GPA. With being an athlete, I have also had to learn to succeed as a team, along with failing as a team, my teammates have become my sisters.
