Personal Statement
My name is Marisa Johnson. I am a 2024 graduate at De Soto High School in De Soto, Kansas. I have loved playing softball since I was 7 years old and want to continue playing at the collegiate level. I have a 4.3 GPA and I am interested in studying Biology in college. As a Freshman, I was a starter on my high school varsity softball team where I broke the single season home run record with 9, and the single season total bases record with 85. As a Sophomore, I broke my high school’s career home run record with 16. In my free time, I love spending time with my youth group and I love traveling.
