Personal Statement
My name is Marifer “Mar” Duran and I have been playing soccer since I was 8 years old. I started playing soccer at my local park district and transitioned to travel soccer. I currently play for Sockers FC Chicago and currently a junior at Downers Grove South High School in Illinois where I play for the Girls Varsity Soccer Team. I have also played in the Illinois Olympic Development Program in 2022 and 2023. I enjoy playing soccer so much that I am capable of playing every position on the field. My goal is to continue to play the sport I love in college.
